"Quality
Is About People and Process"
Testing Questions Ltd
(TQL) provides software testing services focused
on eliminating costly bugs before deadline to
ensure that only top quality products reach the
market. "We don't lose focus of the end goal –
shipping product that meets expectations," says
TQL Managing Director Tam Willacy.
TQL was formed in 2004 to
service a major United States corporate and has
since expanded to service a range of companies
with varied levels of testing requirements. "In
some cases we're employed to construct and push
the client's testing strategy," says Willacy.
"Other times we are there just to get the hard
yards done in an existing structure: whether
that's writing tests or executing tests in a
regression cycle."
Founder Tam
Willacy is a qualified electronic engineer with
a strong background in electronic testing and
seven years experience testing shrink-wrapped
software. He has built up a team of nine skilled
employees, all with industry experience and a
dedication to testing.
TQL and its clients have
confidence in its thorough quality assurance
processes. "We are constantly asking the testing
questions, mostly to the developers, but also
about the process. We then help our clients to
find the answers and, most importantly, deliver
the product."
Based in Auckland, New
Zealand, TQL can provide services to clients
worldwide. Situated in a time zone 20 hours
ahead of Pacific Standard Time, TQL is able to
test after US developers have left work. In
effect, TQL will work throughout the American
evening to supply results by the time the
developers return to their desks the following
morning. |
